They were always going to get caught, weren’t they?
Stories of folks getting arrested are ten a penny but stories of people having sex in a cop car after being arrested are much more unusual.
According to a report in The Smoking Gun, a man and a woman in Winsconson were arrested for drunk driving back in August. The pair, Heather Basten, 29, and Travis Husnik, 33, were handcuffed and chucked in the back of a cop car for the short trip back to the station.
We’ll let Deputy Adam Zahn take up the story, as featured in the police report, which is not written in the best English but cut him some slack, he had a rough night.
He first saw “Travis lay onto of Heather in the backseat.” He then saw “Heather’s legs go up touching the ceiling and heard her begin to moan loudly.” He then stopped the car, got out and checked in the back seat when he saw “Travis onto of Heather having sexual intercourse.”
Both people had their underwear around their ankles and Deputy Zahn also reports that he saw “both of their privates”.
According to the report, Husnik, who had a fair bit of previous, was sentenced to 90 days in jail for lewd and lascivious conduct while Basten was sentenced to 48 days in custody and hit with fines of $1236.
If they actually managed to do the wild thing while both wearing handcuffs in the small space of a back seat, then they should at least have a career in the circus to look forward to after prison.
