The New Zealander has shown beyond doubt his class off the pitch – we all know he is pretty handy on it – by getting in contact with our very own Donal Walsh as well as sending a personal message to Dubliner George Morgan after he showed off some rugby trickshots online.

Earlier this week he paid homage to his pal and former team-mate Doug Howlett who called time on his career and the Irish connection was continued after posting a picture of himself running with a soccer ball.

He was contacted on Twitter to suggest that he couldn’t run with the ball in his hands, but the Kiwi was quick to demonstrate his knowledge of the GAA with his response.

If Dan wants to give the game a go, there are a number of teams throughout the country looking for an accurate place kicker who isn’t afraid to help out the defence, they would be more than happy to at least give him a chance!
