The icy conditions are set to continue overnight…
Met Éireann has warned of “dangerous driving conditions due to ice or snow” tonight leading into tomorrow as temperatures will drop as low as -1C. A Yellow Weather Warning is also currently in place.
The morning is set to be “bitterly cold” with further hail, sleet and snow showers expected around the country throughout the day.
So if you’re driving anywhere tonight, or early in the morning hours of the morning make sure to take it extra handy and watch out as there could be black ice in untreated areas.
