Heaven for food lovers.
They say that variety is the spice of life and when it comes to cuisine choices, Dubliners will be salivating at the prospect of this new continental food hall that will offer some of the most delicious dishes from around the world.
As reported by the Irish Times, a continental style food hall, with 15 outlets serving up to 400 diners, is set to open in Dublin’s city centre next summer.
The food hall will be located in St Andrew’s Church on the corner of Suffolk Street and St Andrew’s Street.
Following a €6 million renovation, the new establishment will cater for anyone in the capital that likes to indulge in some exotic cuisine.
The Michael JF Wright Hospitality Group has agreed to a 25-year lease on the building and construction will get under way in January.
At present, this new food hall is expected to open in June and the trading hours will be from 08:00-23:00, seven days a week.
In terms of the vendors and amenities available, there will be 10 food vendors operating from where the main body of the church currently exists.
Aside from this, an additional three dessert and patisserie outlets, two coffee kiosks, and two bars will be built.
Communal seating will be available, with additional tables for smaller groups on the first floor.
Further seating will be available in an outdoor garden setting.
Bon Appetit.
