Emergency services attend ‘major incident’ at Odyssey Arena in Belfast

Up to 60 teenagers are reportedly being treated for the effects of alcohol and drugs.

Emergency services in Northern Ireland are dealing with a ‘major incident’ at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, with up to 60 teenagers being treated for the effects of alcohol and drugs.

Around 20 people have been taken to hospital, with a number of others treated at the scene, according to reports on the UTV website.

Doors to the DJ Hardwell concert opened at 6.30pm, with a spokesperson for the South Eastern Trust saying they were aware of an incident on a bus at the venue.

Concerned parents have been arriving at the Odyssey, where the event went ahead as planned and is ongoing.
