Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg has revealed that users of the social networking site have donated over $10 million (approximately €8.9 million) to relief efforts in Nepal following a devastating earthquake last weekend.
Messages urging Facebook users to make donations to the relief effort appeared in News Feeds earlier this week, with that sum of over $10 million being raised in just two days.

On top of that, Facebook have pledged to donate $2million to local recovery efforts to help those affected by the Nepal earthquake, the worst earthquake to hit the area in 80 years.
The latest reports suggest that the death toll from the earthquake has now reached 6,200, with a further 13,900 people injured as a result.
