A manhunt has begun in search of a man who is suspected of having fired several gunshots in Dublin on Friday night.
The shots were fired in the Labre Park area of west Dublin before the suspect fled the area. Nobody was injured in the shooting.
There is now a live search for the shooter underway, involving armed Gardaí and canine units.
Reports from Independent News and Media journalist Cathal McMahon suggest that the Gardaí believe the suspect to be armed with both a shotgun and a handgun.
UPDATE: The Gardaí have arrested a teenage boy over the incident, and recovered two firearms.
