Gardaí had been scheduled to strike on every Friday of this month.

The Garda Representative Association (GRA) have decided to suspend three days of strike action that had been scheduled to take place later this month.

According to RTÉ, industrial action is believed to have been suspended pending the results of a ballot of the GRA’s 10,500 members on recommendations made by the Labour Court, the results of which are due before the end of the month.

Gardaí had been due to strike on Friday last, November 4, until it was called off late on Thursday night and three further days of strike action had been scheduled to take place on Friday 11, Friday 18 and Friday 25 November.
