One man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A man has been arrested following the seizure of a number of high-profile items in counties Louth, Meath, Cavan, Monaghan and Dublin.
On Thursday 5 April, the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) undertook a search in the above counties targeting organised crime.
The CAB was assisted by the Garda Emergency Response Unit, the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation (Stolen Motor Vehicle Unit), Revenue Customs and local Gardaí.
They conducted 21 searches in the five counties and seized over €27,000 and £1,500 in cash.

During the course of this morning’s searches, the following list of property has been seized:
- Approximately €27,800 in cash and £1,570
- Two stolen caravans
- One Mercedes Benz car
- A selection of strimmers and lawn mowers
- Cannabis herb & Cocaine (subject to analysis) street value €1,000 approximately
- A Rolex watch
- A quantity of documents and mobile phones are currently being examined by Gardaí. A freezing order has been made on a substantial sum of money in a financial institution.

A Garda spokesperson said that they are examining a number of documents and mobile phones.
Investigations are ongoing.
