The An Garda Síochána Twitter page do some very useful public service work in drawing the attention of the public to the many, many different things Gardaí come across on a daily basis.
Some of the things that happen to them are downright scary.
Although they do see the bizarre as well.

On Friday evening, the Gardaí posted a picture of a Volkswagen Golf parked on the footpath on Conyngham Road, Dublin, completely blocking the footpath for pedestrians.
While this is a horrendous piece of parking, a number of people were quick to point out another thing wrong with the the photo.

What about the cycle lane?
Have a look at the cycle lane there, full of parked cars. Problem is rampant throughout the city and there's no enforcement
