Gardaí are looking for witnesses as they investigate an alleged sexual assault in Mayo.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána confirmed that investigations are ongoing following reports of a sexual assault incident in Castlebar, Co. Mayo on Thursday morning.t
In a statement, it was confirmed that: “Gardai in Castlebar are investigating an alleged sexual assault on a female at Lucan Street, Castlebar at approximately 2am on the 27/12/18. Investigations ongoing.”
