The incident happened at approximately 6.20am.
Gardaí have launched an investigation into a shooting which took place in Finglas in Dublin on Thursday morning.
At approximately 6.20am, Gardaí received reports of gunfire outside a house on Ratoath Drive, Finglas.
It is believed that at least nine shots were fired into two of the windows of the house.
There were no injuries during the incident and the scene is currently preserved for technical examination.
