We’ll be honest with you, we don’t expect Gerry Adams’ Twitter account to be much craic. We were wrong.
On Wednesday Sinn Fein President Gerry Adams launched himself onto the Twitter machine. Now, just over 48 hours, 12 tweets and just shy of 5,000 followers later, he’s produced his first bit of Twitter gold.
We don’t know if this is really Gerry tweeting or if a Sinn Fein staffer made a boo-boo, who ‘Rg’ is or what his ‘adventure’ entails but he might be worth following after all.
By the way, he followed up the ‘adventure’ tweet with this so we think normal-ish service has resumed. ‘Shinners’ seems a bit odd.
UPDATE: More on the ‘lockout’. Something odd is definitely going on.
