Sean Fahey can start planning his return to Dublin.

An Irish student that was injured during the tragic balcony collapse in Berkeley has been released from hospital.

Sean Fahey (21) from Rathmines has now been given the green-light from doctors at the Eden Medical Centre to travel home.

According to The Irish Times, two other students that were injured in the accident, Clodagh Cogley and Niall Murray, are still being treated at the same medical centre.

Regarding the other people who suffered injuries, The Mirror report that Jack Halpin and Conor Flynn are in a fair condition at the John Muir Medical Center while Aoife Beary and Hannah Waters are still in a critical condition at the Highland Hospital but the duo are showing signs of improvement.

It goes without saying that our thoughts and best wishes go out to everyone recovering from the tragic accident at this time.
