No sup-rise here really.
If you asked any foreign person what’s on their to-do list when they come to Ireland, you’re guaranteed to see ‘find a leprechaun’ ‘drink a Guinness’ somewhere on the list.
The black stuff is known worldwide and the proof is that the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin is once again the country’s number one international tourist attraction.
In 2014, a whopping 1.27 million people visited the famous St James’s Gate brewery which breaks all previous records.
That figure is almost a 10% increase on 2013 with the busiest month being August when 148,683 flocked to the attraction.
The majority of the tourists were from the US and the UK with Ireland and France completing the top four.
Hat-tip to Independent.
