We are definitely not jealous.
One lucky Irish EuroMillions Plus player is a life-changing €500,000 richer after the draw that took place on Tuesday night (28 January).
The National Lottery has since confirmed that the winning ticket was sold in Louth.
In particular, the player purchased their ticket on Friday, 24 January from Centra at The Mell in Drogheda.
The winning numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw on Tuesday were: 4, 15, 24, 30 and 45.
In a statement, the National Lottery has urged all players in the Drogheda area to check their tickets carefully.
For the punter holding the winning ticket, they have been told to contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of their prize.
Emma Monaghan, spokesperson for the National Lottery, said in the statement: “We’re absolutely delighted to celebrate this significant win for a Louth player.
“While there was no winner of last night’s EuroMillions jackpot worth €17,000,000, in total, over 29,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games, including our EuroMillions Plus jackpot prize.
“This fantastic prize is a wonderful reminder that exciting moments can happen when you least expect them.”
