Terrible news.
Cathriona White, a native of Cappawhite in Tipperary, has been found dead in her home in LA, according to reports.
White, 28, is the ex-girlfriend of Hollywood star Jim Carrey, having met him in her role as a make-up artist; the pair were pictured together in New York as recently as May of this year.
According to TMZ, LAPD officials responded to a call after White’s body was discovered by two friends of hers in her LA home last night.
