Luas Green Line service suspended after technical fault

Carl Kinsella

A tweet from AA Roadwatch has reported that the Luas Green Line has suspended service following a technical fault.

The fault has occurred at the St Stephen’s Green stop, which is the final stop on the Green Line heading in to town.

For the time being, there are no Green Line services running.

A message from Luas posted to their website makes it clear that while Luas tickets will be valid on Dublin Bus, there is no time by which the Luas is expected to be up and running again.

The statement from Luas reads:

“Passengers,

Please be advised sevice is suspended on the whole Luas Green Line (St. Stephen’s Green to Brides Glen) for the moment and until further notice.

This is due to a technical fault.

Tickets are valid on Dublin Bus.”
