Man in his 30s dies after road crash in Tipperary

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.

A man has died following a road crash in Tipperary on Wednesday (6 April).

At around 9.45pm, Gardaí were alerted to the single-car collision that occurred on the R664 at Garyduff in Aherlow.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body has since been taken to the mortuary at Waterford University Hospital, where a post-mortem will be conducted at a later date.

Gardaí are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage, including dashcam footage, and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
