Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
A man in his 80s has died following a road crash in Dublin on Thursday (23 March).
The single-car collision occurred at around 1.30pm on Corbawn Lane in Shankhill, Dublin 18.
The man in his 80s was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle and was critically injured in the crash.
He was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.
Any road users who were travelling in the area at the time and may have camera footage, including dashcam footage, are asked to make it available to Gardaí.
