A man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of an inmate in Cloverhill Prison in Dublin.
Gardaí arrested the man on Sunday morning and he’s being held at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
A man in his 30s was found dead yesterday following an altercation between two inmates.
The post-mortem has been completed on the man in his 30s who was found dead in his cell but the results will not be released by Gardaí for operational reasons.
