A refugee travelling from Morocco has been pictured stashed in a car glove box, trying to enter Europe.
He was one of three people discovered in dangerous conditions inside vehicles at the border in Beni-Enzar, Morocco, within the space of three hours, the Spanish civil guard said.
Two of the people hid in special compartments behind the dashboard and a third was under a rear seat, images taken by Spain’s Civil Guard show.
Two were treated by medics for asphyxia, disorientation and joint pain.
The car was stopped by border police whilst trying to enter Spain’s North African enclave of Melilla.
Morocco is the main departure point for undocumented migrants trying to get into Spain.
