Man in serious condition after a shooting in Dublin

A man in his 30s is in St. James Hospital Dublin after being shot a number of times in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The shooting is understood to have happened in a house on Stannaway Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12. The man’s condition is being described as serious.

The scene has been sealed for examination and and Gardaí say the matter is under investigation.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Sundrive Road/Stannaway Road area between 2am-3am to contact Sundrive Garda Station 01-6666600, The Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
