Man stabbed at house in Dublin

The victim has been taken to hospital.

A man in his 50s has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident that took place at a house in Dublin on Wednesday night (22 April).

The incident occurred at the Church Road area of East Wall, an inner city area of Dublin, shortly before 11pm last night.

Gardaí reported that a man in his 30s was the victim of a stabbing, and was taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment. His injuries are described as “non-life-threatening”.

A man in his 50s was arrested at the scene and taken to Store Street Garda Station, where he remains detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

The matter remains under investigation by Gardaí.
