Man stabbed to death in Dublin on Sunday afternoon

A man has been confirmed dead after being stabbed in Dublin City on Sunday afternoon.

The man, who is believed to be in his 60s, was stabbed “in the Robinson’s Court area off Cork Street” according to a report by the Independent.

It has been further reported that the man was rushed to St. James’ Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after the attack.

Gardaí have confirmed that the scene is closed for a technical examination and that the investigation is continuing. They have also requested that anyone with information please contact Kevin St Garda Station on 01 666 9400, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
