Sad news today.
A man’s body has been discovered in Hills Lane, Crooksling, Tallaght, Dublin this morning.
It’s believed that the man, in his 20s, had suffered gunshot wounds.
A member of the public alerted the Gardaí this morning when they came across the body, it is believed they originally thought they were a victim of a road traffic accident.
The scene has been sealed off and the state pathologist has been notified.
The Gardaí Technical team will carry out an examination of the scene in Tallaght but they’re currently appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Hills Lane or Crooksling areas late last night or early this morning and noticed anything suspicious or unusual to come forward.
