Most of Kerry is without electricity on Friday morning.
No, this isn’t an attempted coup by Michael and Danny Healy-Rae (yet), but there is a major blackout in Kerry on Friday morning.
The fault is reportedly due to an incident at a large ESB networks site in Laharn, Tralee. Nobody has been injured, according to Radio Kerry’s Jerry O’Sullivan, although he did suggest that power would return ‘in ten minutes’ having tweeted at 9.32am.
Massive power cut in Kerry, Killarney and Tralee affected. Unable to go on air. Checking with @ESBNetworks for updates. @kerrytodayrk
