The warnings are in place early on Friday morning.
Met Eireann have issued a series of Status Yellow wind warnings for seven counties, beginning early on Friday morning.
The counties that have been hit with the warning are Cork, Kerry, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow and Waterford.
Met Eireann have warned of “very strong and gusty southerly winds” for all counties affected.
They have also warned of potential impacts including: “Some fallen trees or branches, difficult travelling conditions and debris, loose objects displaced.”
The warnings in Cork and Kerry are in place from 4am to 8am, while for the five remaining counties the warnings come into effect at 6am until 10am.
A Status Yellow Gale warning was also put in place for all coasts of Ireland and on the Irish Sea.
Met Eireann have said to expect that “southerly winds will reach gale force 8 or strong gale force 9 at times.”
The UK Met Office have also placed Status Yellow wind warnings over Antrim, Armagh and Down.
They warned that “strong and gusty southerly winds may cause disruption to transport and infrastructure.”
Those warnings also run from 6am to 10am on Friday.
