Love Island star and former footballer Michael Thalassitis has been found dead in the woods near his house in Essex aged 26

He was just 26 years old.

Love Island star Michael Thalassitis has been found dead aged just 26.

‘Muggy Mike’ as he was affectionately known on the reality TV show was found dead in the woods near his home in Essex.

He starred on season three of the ITV show in the summer of 2017 after enjoying a six year career as a footballer.
