The ingredient was not declared on the label of either ice cream.
Halo Top UK Ltd. has issued a recall of its mint chip ice cream and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream after they were found to contain chocolate chips with soya.
The company went on to note that there was no reference to soya on the product label.
“This may make the implicated batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of soybeans or their constituents,” the recall order warned.
