Nooooo!!! 13 tonnes of crisps are burnt to a, ehm, crisp in farm shed in the UK

Distressing news for lovers of salty snacks everywhere.

Tony Cuddihy

What a waste. What a glorious waste.

13 tonnes of crisps went up in smoke at a fire in County Durham around 8am this morning.

County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service sent two crews from Peterlee to tackle the blaze, but it was too late to salvage the snacks.

The type of crisps in involved are not currently known, but if there’s a shortage of Hula Hoops after this then JOE will be horribly, horribly upset.
