1066 cases of Covid-19 is NI’s second-highest daily figure since the pandemic began.
The Department of Health also said one death has been recorded bringing the total to 588.
On Friday, Northern Ireland recorded their single highest figure for daily Covid-19 cases.
The 7-day infection rate per 100,000 in Northern Ireland is 314.0.
Derry and Strabane remain the worst affected area – it’s now 946.4 per 100,000.
Belfast is second highest, with a rate of 440.8, followed by Mid Ulster on 352.5 and Newry, Mourne and Down on 325.2.
Northern Ireland has now recorded 20,158 cases of Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic.
