And they say that robbing a bank isn’t a laughing matter…
Traditionally, criminals posing for police mugshots try to look a little embarrassed or a little remorseful for whatever crime they committed (or because they got caught), but Michael Whitington wasn’t going to waste a photo opportunity after he was busted for robbing a bank in a mall in Denver last week.
Michael is due in court today after being arrested while trying to flee the scene of the crime last week, but the prospect of doing hard time didn’t seem to faze him when he posed for his police mugshot; in fact, judging by the mugshot released by the Denver District Attorney’s office, he appeared positively excited at the thought.
We were about to say that Whitington’s expression mightn’t be as jovial once his sentence is handed down, but with this guy, you couldn’t count on that.
