Businesses throughout the country will be going out of their way to encourage the Christmas spirit in the coming weeks, whether it’s through adverts, decorations or gestures of goodwill towards customers.
Sheary’s pub in Crumlin in Dublin have covered their windows in Christmas illustrations that are not only nice and Christmassy, but satirically look at every character and every issue that’s been talked about in Ireland over the last few weeks, from Katie Taylor to Love/Hate and from Roy Keane to Enda Kenny and the water charges debate.

Brian Walsh of Brian Walsh pictures (follow him on Twitter here) was responsible for the illustrations and we have to say he did a bang-up job.
