Very powerful words here.
The issue of equality for all Irish citizens, regardless of sexual preference/religious beliefs/gender etc., has come to the fore as the 2015 Marriage Equailty Referendum approaches.
That’s why this letter from Mary Knox O’Brien, a Dublin mother with two sons, “one of whom happens to be gay”, is perfectly apt and poignant given the current debate.
