Dublin Fire Brigade arrived to the scene but had to wait for confirmation from ESB that the electricity was off before firefighting could begin.

The areas worst affected by the fire were Tallaght, Lucan and Clondalkin, though ESB have confirmed that power should be restored to all homes at this stage.
