What a sound man.
Sligo man Jos Kelly was in Copper’s in Dublin last night, always a great start to the story, and after it was over he went for a kebab on Camden Street. A common ritual.
He stuffed his face and when he was finished he stopped a taxi to get a spin home to his house in Ranelagh.
Jos told us he had a great chat with his taxi driver on the way home but after he paid and got to to his front door, he realised he’d left his phone in the car. Disaster.
Because he hailed the taxi he didn’t have a number for it and he didn’t have a phone to call it anyway so he thought his phone was gone. He went to bed sickened, as you can imagine.
However, the following day, he woke up to this message on his Facebook.
Jos called the number on the post and his taxi driver answered and agreed to return the phone to him ASAP.
Chen arrived in Ranelagh at lunchtime where he handed Jos back his phone and refused to take anything in return. What an honest man.
Chen Ling, we salute you.
Cheers to Jos Kelly for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to editorial@joe.ie or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.
