The details of the story involve a man who was caught watching pornography on a hand-held DVD in a street in the city and, as the Derry Journal reports, ”the 52-year-old was allegedly naked from the waist down, with his trousers and underwear pulled around his ankles, and he was simulating sex with the mattress.’
The man has been charged with committing an act of a lewd, obscene or disgusting nature outraging public decency and of indecent behaviour.
The man has been remanded in custody and will reappear in court later in the week.
