It’s great to see the Gardaí having the craic with protesters.
While most other protesters were making their way home following the main speeches and entertainment at yesterday’s water charges protest, this lad spotted a group of huddled Gardaí looking a bit cold.
So he decided to warm their spirits by doing a handstand on top of a post box… as you do.
The picture was sent into us by JOE reader Andrew Long who said: “Towards the end of the protest on Kildare Street last night, everyone was getting cold and tired, and it seemed that all the guards were bunched up in the corner near that post box.
“So my friend decided to try and entertain the guards a bit! Needless to say, they could only laugh.”
Fair play to Andrew’s friend. Not only did he manage to make the guards laugh, we also got a good giggle out of his shenanigans.
