It seems the cost-saving measures exist outside of work as well.

Michael O’Leary is one of the most successful businessmen this country has ever produced. The Ryanair CEO’s fame and fortune has come on the back of his hard work with the low-cost airline which has now become a global brand.

O’Leary seems to be taking some of his own business ideas on board when it comes to the Christmas shopping.

JOE reader James Frisby spotted the Ryanair chief shopping at Tuthill’s pound shop in Pavilions Shopping Centre in Dublin earlier today where Michael, like the rest of us, was obviously getting some last-minute presents sorted.

Sure, this might be a case of ‘Man Goes Shopping In Shop’, but it’s definitely reassuring to know that the CEO of one of this country’s most successful businesses still knows a bargain when he sees one.
