Who needs actual bike locks anyway?
No right-minded cyclist would leave their bicycle unattended on one of Dublin’s main streets without locking it and An Garda Síochána are no different than the rest of us.
So when two Gardai parked their bikes outside McDonald’s on Grafton Street earlier today and didn’t have locks with which to secure them, they improvised.
Let’s just hope they didn’t find themselves having to actually arrest somebody while ordering their grub inside; that place is notorious for being full of hamburglars after all.
