He could have 'rung' someone to find out

Paul Moore

He could have ‘rung’ someone to find out.

I’d imagine that a life of crime is exactly like a difficult ladder that nobody wants to climb.

You start off at the bottom rung of the ladder, stealing everyday objects to satisfy your petty need to rebel against authority, and before you know it, you’re doing some fairly dodgy things on this rise to the top.

While I’m fairly certain that Al Capone or Tony Montana didn’t start their empires of crime in Roscommon, one local man has embraced the thug life in a very different way.

This excuse for stealing a ladder is absolutely priceless, as is this fantastic headline in the Roscommon Herald.
