And it’s not going to get much better either.
It might be the last week in April, but it sure hasn’t felt like it this week, with unseasonable spells of hail, snow and cold weather hitting parts of the country in the last couple of days.
Met Eireann have forecast that it’s going to be pretty much the same from now until after the Bank Holiday weekend and when you see the meteorological image below, you’ll have a good idea why.
It was tweeted by Joanna Donnelly – whose tribute to Prince on the news last week deservedly gained plenty of kudos – and paints a rather grim picture of what we can expect over the coming days.
