At least he had plenty of books to read to pass the time…

There’s nothing more annoying than rushing to a shop you desperately need something from and when you reach it, the door is locked. That really grinds our gears.

A guy in London last night was in a similar situation but bizarrely he was at the other side of the door when it was locked which caused some serious grinding to his gears.

David Willis called into Waterstones book shop in Trafalgar Square just before 10pm last night and after wandering around upstairs for a while, he decided to stroll out of the shop but found himself locked in. He then put this picture on Instagram…

This is me locked inside a waterstones bookstore in London. I was upstairs for 15 minutes and came down to all the lights out and door locked. Been here over an hour now. Supposedly someone is on their way. #nofilter #london

We’d like to think we’d see the funny side of things if we were in that situation and David seemed to be pretty calm because there was “someone on their way” but he quickly started to get antsy when help wasn’t actually arriving…

After almost three hours, help finally arrived…

So now you know what to do in case of an emergency, just tweet your problem and it will  0% 100% get sorted.
