And THAT is why the letter L is in the alphabet.
This pub in Maynooth have had an unfortunate alteration to their lovely LED sign hanging out front.
Bradys Clock House pub needs to get an electrician in pronto to sort out the sign that now advertises for people to have a pint in the Cock House, it seems to be suggesting something that is probably not prominent in an old traditional style pub such as this one.
Any newcomers lured in by the Cock House sign are sure to be in for a disappointment when they step into the quiet country style bar with not a cock to be seen of any kind.
I don’t think they would have a case for false advertising though as it seems like a mistake rather than something they’re trying to endorse.
Bradys Pub themselves got on to us to let us in on the awkward situation saying “It was bound to happen eventually. We’re not ruling out sabotage by other pubs in the area.”
That’s the spirit.
