Thankfully, nobody was hurt.
A car crashed in through the window of a café in Ballymount on Monday morning.
The accident, believed to be caused by an accelerator fault, happened at approximately 10am, when a car containing an elderly couple mounted a kerb and crashed through the window of Rogers Café in the M50 Business Park.

Speaking to JOE, the owner of the café, Roger Kenny, said that no injuries were sustained by the elderly couple in the car or the customers in the café at the time of the incident and Gardai arrived at the scene shortly after it happened.
