We’re approaching our wit’s end with this bloody weather, it’s the start of August so just gives us some sunshine already.
It’s been tough going over the last few months and the conditions seem to be more unpredictable than ever as the summer goes on.
The whole thing is summed up perfectly by two photos taken on the 18th green at Ballybunion Golf Club in Kerry today.
This one was taken at around 2pm this afternoon after two hours of incessant rain.
This was taken a few hours later.
From floods to a lovely sunny evening in the space of a few hours, what the hell is going on?
By the way, fair play to the ground staff on the course for that turnaround.
