A harrowing moment.
A man has been arrested after smashing his car into a Garda Station and setting the vehicle alight. The incident occurred at around 7pm this evening.
The damage to the station appears to be minimal, and luckily it appears that nobody was badly injured but it was undeniably a frightening moment for the Gardaí inside the station.
Tweets show smoke damage to the building and a completely totalled car, suggesting that the vehicle was being driven at such a speed that it’s lucky nobody was hurt.
