Someone’s clearly in the mood for a party…
Have you ever wanted to get very, very drunk while you had the worst cold of your life? It seems like that’s what happened to one driver this week when the Gardaí stopped him from driving in a bus lane.
Upon pulling the driver over, the Guards noticed that the car wasn’t displaying tax or insurance. They commenced a search, finding five bottles of stolen whiskey, 15 bottles of stolen rum, 6 bottles of stolen vodka and 72 packets of stolen Lemsip.

There were also stolen jeans and slippers in vehicle. Three people in the car were arrested and taken to Pearse Street Garda Station. We are eagerly awaiting this trial.
