With Wayne Rooney making it clear he wants to leave Old Trafford, well-known Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has made an attempt to entice the striker to The Emirates. Sort of.
If there is one thing that Piers Morgan does really, really well it is rile poeple up on Twitter. And as well as having regular pops at everyone from Arsene Wenger to Alan Sugar on Twitter, he is also fond of having a few digs at Wayne Rooney.
But now that the England striker has made it clear – again – that he wants to leave Manchester United, Morgan has made Rooney the sort of offer he surely can’t refuse.
Let’s just say we don’t expect to see Rooney in an Arsenal shirt in 2013-14 based on this incentive.
